About the building
Hoʻohiki Senior Living, a new affordable rental community on North School Street in Kalihi, is taking applications for its 249 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments for people 55 and older, at 30%, 50% and 60% of the area median income. The initial lottery's application date has passed. Applications are still accepted and placed on the waitlist, after the lottery's applicants. Move-ins are expected to begin in January 2027. Section 8 vouchers are accepted.

Honolulu listings come from HPHA's waiting list windows (lotteries, online on HPHA's portal), the City's new projects and EAH Housing's buildings (you apply with the property).
