How it works in Las Vegas
- The Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA) runs public housing and voucher programs in Las Vegas, Henderson and the rest of Clark County. It opens its waitlists a few times a year, for two or three weeks, and posts a public notice.
- While a window is open we list each property the notice names. Everyone whose online application goes through is placed on the list: it is a waitlist, not a lottery.
- You apply online on SNRHA's applicant portal; there are no paper applications.
- We check SNRHA's notices every hour and link each one.
The official site is Southern Nevada Regional Housing Authority (SNRHA). Its rules decide.
